Airmail Craft Ideas;

My newest interest in crafts is anything that is related to Vintage Airmail. Anything that's vintage airmail is like those old school envelopes with the red white & blue sides that have all kinds of stamps & sayings like 'Par Avion' and others. So I have been looking at craft projects that have to do with airmail that other people have done & I have been wanting to share them on my blog for myself & others to get inspired & create one! I have mostly found cards, journals, notebooks, scrapbooks, letters & envelopes made for airmail crafts.

So I'll post my airmail project soon that I'm gonna be working on once it's ready for you! & I'll be writing & sending my own airmail here soon because I have been working on writing to some new penpals that I have found! Yay I can't wait! :) I will post about that also soon! Anyways O hope you enjoy these photos!

Happy Easter & Spring!

Hello my lovely blog that I always seem to neglect! I do not mean to neglect you, I just have way too much going on for my own good to get to do all of the things that I love & really need to get around to getting done! But anyways here I am & I just wanted to wish you all happy Easter & a lovely first week of Spring!

I found some cute little Easter & Spring graphics that I have decided to post for you all to enjoy! I found them all on google and I thought that they were adorable and that you would like them too.

Anyways, tomorrow is April 1st 2013! yay :) A brand new month to start in my new planner I'm working on which I had decided to handmade myself, and a brand new calendar I added in it also! I'll share it on here later, and I thought I'd share a few of my goals for the new month of April:

•Work on finishing up my products for my upcoming Etsy Shop
•Create a deadline by when to finish my shop & have it ready to do a Grand Opening Day!
•Work on my time management
•Get a penpal(s) & start writing then letters!
•Participate more in blog events such as challenges & swaps etc & not neglect my own blog!!!
•Try to do an Instagram Challenge
•Go to bed earlier & Get up somewhat early.
•Try to eat more healthier.
•Work on my self made planner & keep track of what goes on & upcoming plans & projects in April.
• Finish a travel journal that I make & one that I actually like & want to share.
• & Last One: Take lots of photos & post them on here & my Instagram :)

Creating My Blog A Brand (Project)

Lately I've been changing the look of my blog's template constantly... I just can't settle on the font, color, or background for my layout. Every time I come up with a design that I think I really like, I always end up changing it & then I have to change it again & redesign it again & again & again & again.... But it still never looks exactly how I picture it in my mind, it never seems to look right to me.

So this time I have decided that I'm going to go all out. I am starting a new project, I want to create my blog a whole entire brand instead of just designing a temporary layout for it. That way I can come up with the main design, the theme, color palette, logo, template & what I want the message to be & how I want it to be displayed. I've never designed or created a brand before, so I guess that for my first time doing it for my own blog is going to be a great learning experience for me & my blog. & hopefully for my blogs sake this project will be a success... Ha. Another idea I was thinking about was to record this project & the whole process of it on my blog. I think that that would be something useful to add & it would make this project even more interesting for myself especially when it's all done & I can go look it over from start to finish.

To motivate myself to get going with starting the project, I have picked out a couple photos from my computer that I kept for times like this when I need to collect inspiration for creating my own brand. & I'm sure that these photos are not branding related but I just think they go perfectly with my project & looking at them really does help me get inspired & start brainstorming some ideas for what I want to do with this project.

Have you ever created a brand for yourself or someone else? If so, how long did it take you to finally complete the whole process? & if you're a newbie to this like me, then you should try it sometime especially if you blog. It's like creating your own identity for your blog & it really does make a huge difference.
